Meet The World's largest aircraft, The HAV Hybrid Airbus

The world's longest aircraft, consisting of part helicopter, part plane, and part airship, has been unveiled in The UK and could be the key to greener more efficient planes in future. 




The HAV Hybrid Aircraft is two-and-a-half times longer than the distance covered by the Wright brothers' first powered flight.  It has a length of 302ft.  The new airship is about 60ft longer than the biggest airliners, the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8. “It can reach about 100mph and stay airborne for about three-and-a-half days.  Here is more info on The HAV Airbus
